Marston’s PLC is an independent brewery and pub retailing business. The FTSE 250 company operates in 2,100 pubs and bars across the county, and employs over 13,000 staff. The brewery industry is highly competitive, so finding cost efficiencies is an ongoing imperative. Marston’s HR situation was proving to be challenging: hiring staff manually was hampering productivity. The business needed to automate its hiring process ASAP.
How Aiimi Helped
Using OpenText’s ECM Suite for SAP software, Aiimi delivered an employee file management solution. This created an electronic personnel file for each staff member. All data, documents and relevant information for that employee was stored in that file. Aiimi also developed a Pub Manager Portal. This let the hiring manager know which documents would be required during the hiring process. We also developed a lightweight scanning application for the electronic capture of these and other documents.
