Aiimi supports Southwarks youth activities network through the “Its on” program.

Have a look at a review from Walworth Academy

After meeting with Southwark Council and a number of local schools, it became clear that the young people in Southwark were not only unclear on what activities/clubs were available to them but that the young people would be more likely to attend activities/clubs if they knew who else was attending.

Therefore Aiimi have embarked on a project with 12 pupils from 4 schools in Southwark to create an online portal called ‘It’s On’, which will provide intelligence and analysis regarding the local activities that young people are involved with. The outcome of the ‘It’s On’ project will act as a proof of concept and will feed into a further project that the Council are starting later in the year to create a social media site for young people in Southwark.

The ‘It’s On’ project incorporates a full project life cycle via monthly interactive sessions, so that pupils experience every aspect of a real project including requirements gathering, design and testing.

One of the key functions of the ‘It’s On’ online portal will be to present statistical information regarding the demographic breakdown of young people who attend specific activities and activity types (average age, % of males vs females, school breakdown, postcode etc.). Aiimi are also working to ensure that this data can inform the Council’s strategy and budgeting.

At Aiimi we define the success of our business not just on financial performance but also in terms of our social impact. We encourage our employees to better themselves and enhance the communities we work in. We achieve this with a charitable focus on raising money, donating our time and offering our business expertise.

We are dedicated to helping charities raise as much money as possible whilst having fun doing so. We are committed to making our time available for volunteering and offering our business expertise to help charitable organisations. This can be anything from arranging and taking part in football tournaments and quiz nights to helping implement a social media solution.

It is especially important for us to also work with our partners and clients to help them achieve their charitable goals and contribute to the communities they work in.
