Gillian Baker

Role: Principal Consultant, Aiimi

Gillian is a Principal Consultant and Head of the Change Management practice within Aiimi, bringing 16 years of executive management experience to her role. In addition to her extensive expertise in the formation and development of business consultancy practices offering global consulting and change management, she also has specialist understanding of the insurance and finance sectors.

After graduating in Systems and Information Management (Brunel University), Gillian began her career in hardware and software sales, going on to work with a broad range of major corporations (including IBM) on the delivery all aspects of technological and operational change. Subsequently she became founder of and Principal Consultant for Imago Consultants Ltd (acquired initially by Lava Systems and later by OpenText Corporation). Gillian also held the position of UK General Manager for the Innovation Group, with responsibility for the Group’s major insurance clients.

Gillian has conducted various strategic transformation and development projects in the capacity of an independent consultant and built and managed a number of highly respected consulting teams. These teams have operated on projects throughout Europe and North America, including most recently, the formation of a team delivering ‘business as usual’ operations and support for a major international bank.
