Management Accountant

We are looking for an experienced Management Accountant to join our growing Operations Team, a role that will see you liaise with both the finance and management teams, utilising financial information in order to define and inform business strategy and decision making. You will use your knowledge of accounting, finance regulations and legislation, business acumen, strategic and analytical thinking to become a valued member of the Operations team, working alongside the Operations Director and Finance Assistant. Previous experience using Xero would be beneficial to this role.

All applicants will be required to hold the relevant ACA/ACCA/CIMA certifications and be highly proficient in Excel.

Requirements of the Role

This role will see you become involved in multiple areas of the Aiimi business, including:

Management accounts
• Oversight of the management accounts cycle
• Working with the Finance assistant to produce customer invoices
• Bank statement reconciliation
• Create deferred revenue schedule
• Create accrued revenue schedule
• Create accrued cost schedule
• Create pre-payment schedule
• Prepare Payroll recharge schedule
• Manage the creation and sign off of the monthly management accounts

Credit Control
• Work with the Finance assistant to monitor and deal with any credit control queries and ensure
invoices are paid on time
• Create weekly credit control report / updates

Accounts Payable
• Work with the Finance assistant to ensure supplier invoices are uploaded
• Create weekly / bi-weekly schedule of invoices to be paid
• Work with the Finance assistant to set up payments via the bank account for approval
• Create weekly accounts payable report / updates

• Oversight of the monthly payroll cycle
• Working with Finance assistant to input all monthly updates/ changes to payroll
• Calculation of monthly/ quarterly/ annual bonus/ commissions
• Review & Sign off draft payroll report before being sent for final approval
• Manage process for HMRC PAYE/ NI submissions & payments
• Managed P11d Process

• Ensure all revenue/costs/ expenses are correctly coded for VAT purposes
• Creation of draft VAT schedule for review & sign off
• Submit VAT schedule once approved in line with HRMC deadlines

• Support Operations Director & COO on budget process for each new business year – including creating/
maintaining and updating budget model
• Load and maintain budget into Xero


• All applicants will be required to be qualified at the relevant ACA/ACCA/CIMA level
• Extensive knowledge and abilities to work with Excel is essential
