Social Media Executive

Job Description

Are you an avid social media scroller? Do you want to be the next Steven Bartlett?

If you have a creative mind, demonstrable experience in managing social channels, and understand the power of Social Media in B2B marketing then a role at Aiimi may be perfect for you.

We’re a fast-growing, straight-taking, fun-loving technology company with a passion for data and AI and one eye on making the business world a smarter, better place.

As a Social Media Executive, you’ll give Aiimi - and our software product - a voice online, creating engaging content tailored to different objectives. You’ll lead on the planning of exciting social campaigns well ahead of key reveals, events and PR beats, whilst keeping an eagle eye on new opportunities, influencers and trends on a daily basis.

This is an exciting and varied role for someone with a passion for technology and experience in the industry. We’re looking for someone who really understands why social media and digital marketing content can be so important to fast moving, growing companies like Aiimi.

You’ll join Aiimi’s great marketing squad based out of our shiny new HQ in Milton Keynes. However, this role will have UK wide reach, so work from home, your garden, the park, anywhere! As long as you bring value to the business and get the job done to a high standard we are flexible on this! We pride ourselves on our collaborative team culture and sense of humour. We don’t take ourselves too seriously, but what we do makes a real difference – just ask our customers. We work with some of the largest and most respected brands in the UK, national infrastructure providers and the Government.

At Aiimi the pace is dialled up to maximum, but you will always find yourself surrounded by like-minded adventurers and the rewards are worth it.

Requirements

In this role you’ll be able to:

  • Manage Aiimi’s social media accounts day-to-day, developing and executing your plan to boost our engagement with our target audience
  • Proactively extend the network and social presence of key individuals in our senior management team
  • Work closely with the Digital Marketing Manager and Head of Marketing to develop and execute our Influencer Marketing strategy. We’re looking for someone to get stuck into understanding influencers in our industry, developing an engagement strategy and bringing this to life
  • Measure and report on the success and growth of our social media presence and influencer marketing strategy. You’ll be comfortable using Social Media and Google Analytics tools to build a meaningful dashboard with metrics to show off our performance
  • Work with our agency partners to understand best practices (such as in SEO and PR) and ensure they’re delivering great results
  • Assist with event planning and management (We like to attend major industry events, and we’ve been known to put on some pretty big events ourselves too)
  • Manage our printing and merchandise orders
  • Help to source and edit content for aiimi.com blog from wider team
  • Manage our website to a high standard – including uploading new blog content and liaising with our developer to fix any issues
  • Assist with the planning and creation of marketing content – you’ll be full of creative ideas to bring to the team
  • Contribute to the team’s marketing knowledge by keeping a keen eye on both the market and your own campaigns, sharing your findings regularly

Who we’re looking for

You’ll be an Aiimi person through and through – creative, bold, caring, with the desire to be a true expert at what you do.

We’re looking for people that have:

  • A passion for technology and how it can make the business world better

  • The ability to write in multiple tones of voice for different formats and platforms
  • An understanding of the marketing planning process and where Social Media fits into this
  • Great knowledge of current digital marketing trends, and the strengths and weaknesses of the core Social Media channels
  • Brilliant organisational skills. You might be working on multiple projects at the same time with different teams across the business
  • The confidence to work independently on both short and long-term tasks, and a willingness to collaborate with colleagues across teams within Aiimi
  • Initiative and the confidence to start things from scratch
  • The courage to press the Brave Button and give it a go!

Experience that would be an advantage:

  • Using social media tools to schedule and deliver timely and engaging content
  • Analysing core marketing metrics and presenting meaningful findings to senior management team in an easy-to-understand way.
  • Using Hubspot as a CRM and a marketing automation tool. (Or you might have another social media automation tool you’d like to introduce us to!)
  • Briefing, creating, delivering, managing and analysing social, community or marketing campaign content – preferably in technology or a related field
