Aiimi projects make the finals at Water Industry Awards 2020.
Two projects that our teams have been involved with (one with Anglian Water and another with Northumbrian Water Group) have been shortlisted for the WWT Water Industry Awards 2020. We’re really pleased to see the impact that our teams have had as part of these innovative projects for two of our customers in the water industry.
The projects have been selected as finalists across two different categories in this year’s Water Industry Awards. Being in the mix represents a considerable success for Aiimi and the other parties involved in the projects, and their wider efforts to revolutionise the way the water sector handles data.
Data Project of the Year
Both Anglian Water and Northumbrian Water Group have been named finalists in the ‘Data Project of the Year’ category.
Anglian Water appears on the shortlist for its Next Gen Business Intelligence Platform, produced in close conjunction with Aiimi and Capgemini.
Northumbrian Water Group has been named for its Customer Experience Digital Twin initiative, in which data experts from Aiimi played a key part in planning and implementing the project.
Alliancing and Partnership Initiative of the Year
Anglian Water has also been listed in the Alliancing and Partnership Initiative of the Year category at the Water Industry Awards. This is in recognition of its efforts in forming the EIM Alliance, which is a commercial framework designed to assist Anglian Water in achieving greater operational efficiency through information management. Aiimi is proud to be one of the key players in the alliance, alongside Capgemini and DXC.
Commenting on the two companies, both of whom are Aiimi customers, being named finalists, Steve Salvin, CEO at Aiimi, said:
We’re delighted to see both Anglian Water and Northumbrian Water Group named as finalists in what are the leading awards in the water industry. It’s been great to work with both companies, alongside our partners in Capgemini and DXC.
Both Anglian Water and Northumbrian Water Group are blazing a trail for innovation in their industry, engaging in a number of projects that aim to make better use of information and, ultimately, transform the experience they are able to provide for their customers. It has been a pleasure to work with them on these initiatives.
Making more effective use of data and information is vital if businesses in the water sector are to continue to thrive in the face of a range of different challenges. By taking steps to harness this data and incorporate it into business intelligence and Digital Twin initiatives, there’s a huge amount of potential for organisations to redefine the way the industry operates.
Data is what we’re all about at Aiimi, and we’ve put collaboration at the heart of our water industry relationships, so these nominations mean a lot to us.
We’d like to wish the best of luck to both Northumbrian Water Group and Anglian Water for the final award ceremony, due to take place virtually via Zoom from 4pm on Thursday 30th July!
Anyone can register to watch the awards live, and take part in the two social media challenges that are running throughout the evening for ‘Best Dressed Viewer’ and ‘Best Team Photo’ by using #WaterAwards20.
